Brand
If you can't say it in one line, neither can AI.
Positioning used to be written for people, but now machines have to repeat it too.
Here's a quick test. Ask five people in your business what you do and count how many different answers you get. If it's five, then your customers, search engines and AI assistants are getting five versions too, and they have far less context to work with than your team does.
One line, everywhere
A good one line says who it's for, what it does and why it's better, and it needs to show up the same way everywhere people find you. That means your website, your listings and your social bios, right down to the email signatures your team sends every day.
It matters more now because an AI assistant pieces together its description of you from all of those places at once. If they disagree, it has to pick one or hedge, and a hedged answer rarely turns into a recommendation.
Consistency used to be a brand guideline. Now it's how you get recommended.
So write it down and test it on a real customer to see if they'd describe you the same way. Once it holds up, make it the first sentence on every page that matters.
